Our Story
HOMETOWN FLOWER CO. CONNECTS PEOPLE who love flowers with the local farmers who grow them.
A new take on the traditional neighborhood florist, Hometown launched as Long Island's first flower truck and digital florist in May 2919. We are a full-service boutique specialty floral design studio guided by our mission to work exclusively with locally-grown seasonal flowers. Visit us in person at our studio in Huntington Village.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is simple: to encourage people to look no further than their hometowns to find beauty grown nearby, and to provide access to locally-grown varieties in places where our farmers are typically unable to consistently reach.
We believe local sourcing is not only more sustainable and ethical but that it allows for more creative freedom and individuality. We are also a foam-free florist and try to mitigate as much waste and toxic materials as possible with all our designs.
Hometown's Roots
Jaclyn and Marc are two Long Island natives and residents, running this venture as a family operation with their two daughters, August and Sage.
The idea for Hometown comes from Jaclyn's experience as a third generation floral designer, growing up around the industry and witnessing how removed consumers and retailers were from where and how their flowers were sourced.
As a full-service studio, Hometown is committed to changing the status quo, reminding people of the humanity and artistry behind every flower stem they admire.
